Hi there,
Wanted to welcome you to the forum but I am confused (easy to do I know 
) with your post - I know what you mean but I found it strange to just say that as it's common knowledge to wear shoes on this and all of the hike's on STJ - did someone tell you otherwise?

There are moments in time you read of and hope they were true. You also know you'd have given a leg to have seen them in person. That is one of them.
