Just checked American Airlines. Round trip airfare from JFK to St Thomas for two is $958. We are going in July and was wondering if I should book now, or wait in case the price goes down. Is this a good price? THanks......

I wish I could get airfare that cheap...I would buy now...I can't get anything under $740.00/ticket flying out of Norfolk! Its ridiculous...but worth every penny....

I just booked Delta out of JFK to STT, non-stop, for April and only paid $363 directly through Delta website. We usually only travel with American but couldn't pass that up. Try different times throughout the day and night for airfares as they fluctuate.

Just another thought. My husband and I both have frequent flyer numbers with American and Delta. On several occasions with American if I booked the flight using my number the flight was cheaper than using his. Just something to keep in mind.

I've been doing some rate exploration on the kayak.com site using their flexible date options I am seeing $406 on Delta. Kayak is adding some pretty nice tools, including a calendar that lays out the rates by month.
I'm seeing round trips from DC in July and August starting at $397 with Wednesday travel the cheapest.
Cheers, RickG

ya, if you try to be flexy w/ your dates, you save lotsa bucks.
we decided to go fri-fri this year and saved. came to $898 total for two. if we flew sat-sat it would've been $1298 total for two.
