Limited Car Ferry

Just thought I would remind everyone that we are down to 2 ferries (from 4) due to a fire on one and service on another (unless the Mr B after the fire is up and running again and I haven't heard)
If you are bringing your car from STT (and returning it after vacation obviously) please plan on extra time.

So are the 2 remaining ones still running every 30-60 minutes daily (except sundays)?? We will be there in 2 weeks and plan on taking our jeep back and forth a couple times.

As long as you are renting the jeeps in STT 
(no jeeps rented on STJ are allowed off island)
They are running I think every hour right now but in 2 weeks I hope we will be back to 3 of the 4

The fire was on General II - confined to the engine room and happened on the dock -- not heavily damaged and will just need USCG inspection to get back in service.

We took the car ferry from STT last Friday. We didn't have any problems getting over, but getting back was horrible!! Luckily, we had listened to suggestions from people on the message boards and only bought one way tickets, each way.
We must of been about 50th in line with alot of trucks. Believe me, tempers were pretty heated.
Trip report soon! I'm just soooo tired first day back at work.
