What size do most of y'all buy to take food to St. John? We have been using a silver lined roller cooler we bought from Costco several years ago but this summer it didn't seem to work as well. Time to replace it. Just wondering what the best two sizes would be to get or do you have to get two of the same size?

The card I got in the mail did not mention if you could get 2 different sizes. I wondered the same thing.We bought 2 of the 12 pack ones this summer. I am going to order 2 of the 24 pack . I do know the card said there is no limit on quanity.

FYI - I just entered the 24-pack and 6-pack, thinking I would get only the 6-pack free but it actually deducted 50% of the total price so you CAN mix and match.

I just can't decide which one to buy for traveling. I wish the 12-pack was more square vs long and narrow. We probably wouldn't use it to pack food in for the flight down, I'm more interested in one to use at the beach to pack our lunch in along with a few drinks (for two adults and a teenage daughter) but doesn't take up too much room in a suitcase.

Our trip is just 3 weeks away so this is perfect timing.

I just tried it and the smaller size is free. I'm thinking this would make a good picnic cooler since we're staying in one of the tents at Concordia in February and I don't think they have a cooler for our use.

This is a football tailgate question. I'd like to keep chili
hot from home to a certain Midwestern university two
hours away. I realize this is somewhat OT, but I'm stumped,
short of bringing one of those Coleman grills along...
any clever ideas appreciated!

do you have a crock pot? and a cigarette lighter (or one of the lighter thingies in the back of the car--our VW has an outlet in the back)

go to radio shack and get an adaptor with a plug end and a lighter end and then plug in your crockpot and voila! hot chili!

Polar Bear coolers will also keep things hot. Just pick up some of those hot/cold packs at a sporting goods store, heat them in your microwave and toss them in the "cooler" (or "warmer" in this case!) and it should keep your chili hot for a while.

I know you can heat Techni-ice and here's a quote from the Polar Bear website: "The Polar Bear will keep ice for 24 hours in 100 degree heat and will keep hot up to 200 degree for many hours."

We ordered a total of six 12 pack coolers including the "ice" for Christmas presents. We personalized them also.

If you have any type of well insulated cooler, load the chili into large zip lock bags. Stuff the extra space with newspapers and it should still be warm when you get to the tailgate.

Incidentally, if it warm or hot or in between it won't matter after a couple of hours of big screen tv and booze at a tailgate.

By the way, I hope that team is Notre Dame or Purdue or..............

I looked at the website, didn't look like any are on
wheels? Did I miss that by some chance. It would be
must easier to travel with / w wheels.

I recieved ours this week, I bought the 12-pack and 24-pack. The 12-pack would be fine if we were going to use it just for packing our lunch for the beach but I think we're going to take the larger one so we can pack some frozen meats and my husband needs his Diet Mt Dew and I'm not sure how readily available it is on St Thomas, I remember being able to find regular Mt Dew when we were last there but he has since switched to Diet. Half the time our stores here are out of the Diet so we'll probably be packing a few frozen bottles of Diet Mt Dew as well which means we need to take the 24-pack.
