Hi All,

Appreciate your thoughts on which of the following 4 villas we should choose for our trip in December-- going with wife, 2 children (6,8) and mother-in-law. All generally fit our space needs (2 interior BR bc. of kids), so looking for the niceness factor and the views --

Choco-Cruz
Beija Flor
Southern Cross
Treasure Ridge

And a 5th, which is a bit pricier - Ambiance (is it worth the extra cost?

Many thanks!!

bieja flor and southern cross both appear to have age restrictions on kids. (8 and up?) did you chekc withthe agency (if your kids are six it might be an issue)
a friend of ours stayed at ambience and we visited, it is really lovely, it's fairly close to the westin (just for orientation purposes)
if your kids are not swimmers though....(although there were a fair amount of toddlers and younger kids in and out while my friend was there and no one had a problem)

on thing is that the house sort of overlooks the large construction site way down below which is sort of annoying (at least it would be for me).

sooner,

we stayed at treasure rd with another couple in dec 06. nice well equipped villa just above ambiance and allesandra where rickg, the Bs and jeorge stayed this week and did the web cam. great views to west and south and since she's on ridge line, also have views to east over ditliff (sp) point and will have sunrises and sunsets in dec. great room doesn't have ac but with wide covered porch on west side that was not a problem during our trip.

some of negs: there was a villa under construction next door but surely through by now; you will be able to see pond bay construction site on choc hole but the panoramic views will cause you to look over the construction site but noise could be factor; lower level bedroom is small and there are alot of steps down to that bedroom, pool deck and laundry; and not much furniture for clothes storage in the 2 equal upstairs masters nor any views from those rooms.

i don't know anything about the others you mentioned.

good luck.

Yo..We are staying at Beija Flor from Nov 29-Dec13. We were at Southern Cross in June and would have taken her again except she was rented. We stayed at Beija Flor a couple of years ago and loved her. Both are killer for views. PM me for more info...God bless..Bill

Beija Flor was awesome for us & our boys (they were 5 and 9 at the time). The view is great with the sunrise. I remember the pool being too cold but noticed on Seaview Homes website that it is solar heated now!

Happy house hunting!
