Cruise Ship Schedule

I keep hoping for next month's cruise ship schedule to get posted because I know there'll be more cruise ships this time and I want to beat them to the beaches, especially Trunk.

However, I am having no luck tracking down the schedule. I don't remember it being so close to the beginning of the month when I saw it last year, so I figured I'd ask.

I could might just be looking for something to panic about, since everything else has worked out and I do like to panic.

I keep checking the sites for Nov's schedule as well. Since we stay on STT it is a bit more important to us....we essentially plan our week around that schedule.

You guys who still can't find the cruise ship schedule!

On our site it is here:

http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/c ... ules.shtml

(or - in the blue menu above - Trip Planning -> Getting Here -> Cruise Ship Schedules)

We don't update it until the very end because WICO often changes it late - the one on virginislandsthisweek.com is good:

http://www.virginislandsthisweek.com/cruise_arrivals/

- but they get that one early as it is for the print magazine - so it is subject to change.

Don't worry about the cruise ship people. They stay in a clump right at the center of the beach, so if you go to either side you are away from them. Sometimes it's fun to sit among them and watch them snorkel for the first time and see all those amazing fishes. And, they don't take up any parking spaces! Trunk with cruisers is a fun experience. Just don't stand in the lunch line while they're there. Cruise people seem to love long lines.

I kind of enjoy Trunk on a day when there are four or five ships in port. It's great people watching and they usually arrive after, and leave before, I do. They also tend to stay near the snorkel trail so just grab a spot on the far left side of the beach as you walk in.

I just don't like crowds. That's why I go in the off season. Although November might be a little too "on" for my tastes. At least Shipwreck Landing and Banana Deck will be open!
