The power keeps going off & on, I think WAPA is signaling us. Wind & rain has kicked up.

knock on wood....we haven't even had one flicker all day. The wind is really kicking now, I wish I could see outside. We have the shutters closed, but I guess that's a good thing.

I have my flashlight in hand, waiting for lights out. And, no Internet if no power.

What part of STJ are you located. Have family in C'berg, they still have power and phone.

I am at Villa Caribe, around the bend from Gallows Point. Blowing more here than in Klein Bay. Power has flickered, still have phone, lights & Internet.

Would be awesome if you kept those niceties all night.

I hear the curfew is in effect until 2 p.m. Thursday.

Good info. My brother and friend will be eager to get out and check conditions of the rental houses. I will tell them to stay put.

I spoke too soon. We lost power about a half hour ago. Good thing my trusty iPhone still has the Edge network. I'm hearing some pretty good gusts of wind out there. I keep hearing a sound thats weird, kinda like when you blow over a glass bottle.

I have to amend a previous post on another thread;
