Ok, what is up with the Weather Channel, CNN and other network news broadcasts. All they are focusing on is Puerto Rico and how Omar is now going east of them so they are going to be spared the brunt of the storm. Hello....we are east of Puerto Rico and all we are getting is a slight mention from time to time. They just interviewed the Gov. of PR and how they are preparing for the storm. I just don't get it. I guess I need to turn the TV off for awhile and just put on the iPod and enjoy my rum drinks! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Funny how you mention this...I was complaining this morning when the news said "Hurricane Omar looks like it will ruin some vacations." Hmmm...don't us locals count????

I was wondering the same thing, I kept switching channels looking for info on USVI. I think it might be because all the reporters went to P.R instead of the VI. Lazy reporting. Be safe, I'm hoping for the best for everyone in the path of this storm.
