This is my new obsession.
www.etsy.com
It is a place where people sell their handmade or handcrafted items or supplies.
Warning- it may be addictive

I recall looking at it once or twice but it never caught on for me. Maybe it needs another look

Oh, Xislandgirl! I didn't know about this site. I have a couple of talented artist/craftsmen in our family who will also love this site. Thanks!

Must. Not. Open. Site!
I cured myself of an ebay obsession a couple of years ago (I was collecting antique tablecloths....and I have a modern square dining table that you can't even put a cloth on!). I am afraid to see what I might get obessed with if I look on this site. I love handmade jewelry and pottery.

Becky, do not open. DO NOT. well maybe just a peek

I saw some great pottery at decent prices. but I must not buy. no place to put it all, we're in a recession blah blah.
I do have a birthday coming though

Golly, another place to spend the money that we just lost in the market! Great site and you are right it could become addictive.

I opened the link on my Blackberry but everything was too small see. Probably a good thing since I have too much stuff and no extra money right now. But, as soon as I can get to my computer I'm going to investigate further. Just to window shop, of course.

. I do have a friend who makes beautiful pieces of jewelry and am going to pass it along to her.
