I don't know where that is but I'll read it
I was in Rosemary Beach, Florida for our "hurrication" during Gustav but it was boring so there is nothing to report except that it is near the town where The Truman Show was filmed so I saw that.

Absolutely would love to read it!!
I even think it'd be fun if everyone did a trip report of their surrounding area/hometown since we are spread out across the country!

I'd love to read about your trip. I've been in VA for 14 years but am originally from Michigan. I haven't been to Mackinac Island since I was a kid. Thats awesome...Lucky you!

The only thing I know about Mackinac Island is that that's where "Somewhere In Time" was filmed and I always buy Mackinac Island Fudge at the county fair! I'd love a trip report, Tom!

I wanna see! I wanna see!
The biggest thing that I miss about living in Michigan is my ability to spend all my weekends "up north."

I lived in the U.P. for a year when Rick was in the Air Force, but never made it to Mackinac! There IS a big bridge there, I remember seeing pictures of it.
