Hey fluffy! You just brought it up! LOL!! No, really, you're right. This is our respite from reality. I come here to escape the crap I see on TV or read in the papers. In Gwen Stefani's words, it's a "Sweet Escape"!

Yup - the forum helps me escape and things like The Daily Show and Colbert Report help me laugh at the insanity of it all.
FYI
www.hulu.com is a great place to catch up on clips from those shows and others.

I have been secretly dying for someone to bring it up - but on the "Off Topic" forum!!!

This forum is a good escape and I am glad it hasn't been brought up also!
I will be on STJ for election day and I will be diving that day and then join the RickG gang, the rest of the SOTBII and other forum folks on the beach. So, hopefully I can avoid it there too!
(I will be voting per absentee ballot though -so no worries).

Those shows make my evening, We record them when we can't stay up late enough to watch. Yes, they are comedy shows, but darn if the commentary isn't right on the money!! They are so funny! You're right, it's great to laugh at it all.

sea-nile - I thought about getting a t-shirt made to wear that day that resembled a ballot:
( )John McCain
( )Barak Obama
(X)Chris Sawyer

That was good!
I know what I am going to vote. Oh right, I'm not allowed to vote....then it has to be Chris Sawyer

Way to go Anthony for throwing that idea out there. Phew, are we going to set a new record for posts in a single day over there on the OT forum?
