If my flight arrives at 10pm...

If my flight arrives on STT at 10pm, what is the probability that I will be able to get over to STJ?

I know that there are ferries leaving Red Hook at 11 and midnight, just a bit nervous about getting in so late and trying to get over to STJ as we usually just stay the first night on STT.

Thanks for any input!

Even now, when that flight, AA 795, is supposed to arrive around 8, it is usually late. Sometimes up to 4 hours late. If you are on an Eagle or Cape Air flight, it could be different.

Our flight comes in at 9:45 p.m. heading for the 11 p.m. ferry to STJ. After a short snooze at the St. John Inn, we can pick up our car at 8 a.m., stock up at Dolphin Market and make it to our villa in Coral Bay by 10 a.m.

That's the plan!

You should be fine - I have done it several times

I would do carry on only if you can, although the luggage does seam to come out quite quickly at that time of night as you are the only plane arriving, and would use Rachael as a private taxi ($25.00 per person for 2 or more) and she will have you there for the 11pm for sure providing you are not late and have carry on - if not you will make the midnight ferry.

Book your seats on the plane as close to the exit as you can as it speeds up the process (if you have carry on - doesn't matter if you have checked luggage as you will be waiting anyway)

Good luck

Thanks guys. The only flight I could book on that day (Saturday) using air miles arrives that late.

I am also toying with the idea of flying in a day early or paying one way and using air miles the other.
