USVI-On-Line

I know there are some weather geeks on the forum because you post interesting things from time to time. There have been various posts about weather sites for the Caribbean, but alas, my search capability fails me to find any of those posts.
We are considering doing a last minute trip leaving around Oct 10, depending upon the weather (and our pesky jobs). We want to take a look a week ahead of time to see if there are any tropical storms, or the beginings of one before we cash in miles for tickets.
We are avid smorkelers, so if its going to be rainy/stormy, we won't go. The normal little tropical showers here and there are fine, but I don't want to go if its going to be a gully-washer type of storm like experienced on STJ recently.
So what would be your favorite site to watch?
(This time I will bookmark them, so I don't have to ask again )

Have been reading the Caribbean Hurricane network--www.stormCARIB.com for years now. In addition to the general forecast, you can move over to the right hand column and just click on any of the down island islands( that sounds funny, doesn't it?) to see what's brewing out there.
The fellow from Antigua keeps his eye out for stuff coming off the African Coast and the Nevis reports seem to spot trouble in the distance too.
A great read.

Many of the sailors here rely on www.weathercarib.com for the local weather and plethora of links and info

I second CaliforniaGirl's recommendation for Weather Underground. The entire site is full of all kinds of interesting stuff including historical stuff.

I use this link to NOAA to check the tropical atlantic....

And this part of AccuWeather so that I can see where the tropical waves that come off Africa are in the Atlantic, how fast they are moving, and any potential for development.

I'm leaving on the 10th as well and unfortunately spending too much time going on these sites!!
