How many VIOL BB pets have STJ related monikers?

Greetings!

Just getting my daily fix over at "On St John" and noted today's story about a pet named "Sloop Jones" after StJ's own Sloop Jones (I love Sloop by the way!).

We named our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Duffy, after Duffy's Love Shack on STT. Plus I was wearing a Duffy's t-shirt when I met my future hubby for the first time (it looked great with camoflage pants and we were getting ready to play some paintball-- yeah, I'm kinda cool like that!)

Anyway... it got me to thinkin'... how many other forumites have named their pets after someplace or something related to STJ? If so, what kind of pet? And what is their name?

Only 74 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a pic of Duffy and our other little one when he was a puppy, Gromit...

Here's a better face shot of Duffy...

My Cocker Spaniel's names are Bo'sun and Dory. Not STJ names, but boat names! My black cocker before these two, was Bimini.

We got our dog used, so he came with a name. He does sport a Jolly Dog collar!

Cheers, RickG

Our new beagle puppy is named Butkus but, we came very close to naming him Calabash (Boom). Would have been "Callie" for short or, "Boom."

We have two lovely bougainvillea and hibiscus plants which are named, respectively, Ruth and Ron. Does that count?

Maybe Pete can get a picture all three posted on here. I'm terrible at that stuff.

Love, love, love beagles!!

I am SOOOOO trying to talk myself OUT of adopting a little girl beagle who is the runt of her litter. She's just 6 weeks old right now and so tiny.

My favorite dog ever was my childhood beagle, Sadie. I just worry about how well our almost 9 year old Butter, the yellow lab, will take to a new face. She's adjusted pretty well from only child status to having two little humans running around!

Snigger. Snigger.

I have two really pretty mandevilla in the new red variety. I never thought to name them, but I suppose I could call them Captain John and Sue.

Our dog doesn't have a VI related name, but does sport a Foxy's Island Dog collar.

Flip flop, a new puppy can rejuvinate (or aggrivate) an "older" dog. An "older" dog (if well behaved) can teach the new pup the ways of the house, etc.

Only get the beagle if you are planning on giving her a STJ related name though:lol:
