Hey all
Has anyone eaten there?
My friends are heading down and wanted to go.
I thought they were closed in Sept. I PM'd Ruth to ask.
They heard wonderful things and are headed down that way and leave next Wed so wanted to tell them if it was closed.
Does anyone who was on island recently know?

Hey Rosi - According to Ruth's restaurant closings website http://stjohnspice.com/stjohnrestaurants.htm, Ocean Grill is closing Sept. 8th and reopening on Oct. 1st.

My friend called this week and someone answered the phone and said they were getting ready for a party. She thought they were opened.
So maybe they had a private party but are closed.

I don't know. It looked closed to me. There was a guy staining the back spiral staircase and I was staggering around there at all hours.

Someone told me that Country Kenny was having a big party and they ran out of crown. I thought well 'if they are closed I would imagine they did not restock'....he should have BYOB......lol

Don't know about the closing but we ate there last May & it was wonderful!!! The best Salmon salad I've ever had....huge piece of salmon - very generous portion.
