I have good news and bad news.

First the good - the Mosquitos are back to normal.

Now the bad - this is flippers last full day :(. Please join in a round of pity for me.

Gibbey is gorgeous, just got id'd by Amy from the forum. Planning to say bye to ruth tomorrow. We'll be on the 12 noon ferry :(

FF- you must be relaxed--do you mean Gibney? Or is there a new beach we don't know about?

I was thinking about you this AM. So glad that Amy finally spotted you! I told her to give you a hard time if she did ;-)

Enjoy your last full day of paradise and bring me back some sun! Hugs!

I told you that it’s hard to click the heels of flip flops. Sounds like she has the effects of running through a Gibbney field. This isn’t Kansas Toto or should it be – This isn’t DC mini flip-flop. Enjoy your last day. And repeat after me – There’s no place like STJ, There’s no place like STJ.

I thought it was spelled Gibber? Or, is that after the Bushwackers?

It's raining in NoVa, can you hear your lawn growing?

Cheers, RickG

Yup, I finally saw the flip-flops at beautiful Gibney (or Gibby, Gimlet, or Gibbme!), and I have a photo to prove it:

Flip is so nice, and so is Mr. Flip and Little Flip. The Littlest Flip was limin' in the shade. A beautiful family!

I think Gibney is my new fave beach. We'd only snorkled there before from Hawksnest, never sat there for any length of time. But man, what a perfect beach! I loved it so much that after I brought the boys back home to hang out and relax, I went right back, sat and read and gazed at the view, then went for a good snorkle on the right side by the rocks. A photo from this morning (and I think that is flip-flop in the distance before I realized it was her):

Have a safe trip home--it was great to meet you!
