Oh yes I'm checking American Airlines for flights and because Blue Caribe is rented we might have to look for something cheap on St.Croix I'm not ready for the cold.

I'm already booked for December 7-14!! Just got to make sure that the palne gets off the ground!
Funny that you mention this though, I tend to watch mother nature for these clues and in Northern VA the squirrels have been unusually active. Just seemed a bit early to me that they're out and about gathering up the acorns.

We're seeing it too. Christine pulled a whole hickory nut out of one of her plant's pots she was working on. We are also seeing the Fall squirrel mating behaviors start early. My dog and I enjoy a bit of squirrel baiting on our morning walks. The neighbors seem to find it amusing.

Yeah I'm a big fan of keeping an eye on nature. Confirmed by the preceding moments of the massive Tsunami a few years ago in Asia -- the animals started to head for the hills!

We were discussing the strange behavior of the squirrels here in Central Illinois also. I have a couple of kamikaze squirrels in my front yard. They race from tree to tree all day with their cheeks full, and are making some pretty strange noises, ALL DAY!
We have also noticed the abundance of fog! About 11pm the air is thick outside, and all you can smell is corn. Seems kind of early to me for that strong corn smell!
Winter -BLAH!

Mother nature is doing her thing Geese of flocking and yes the squirrels in East Hampton are in full gear it's August and at night it's in the 60's. We are all going to have to brake open the piggy bank for a extra trip to STJ or somewhere in the Carribean.

We follow natures signs too...not the weather man's

My sweetie and I were talking about this just yesterday. All of our dogwood trees (leaves) are already turning scarlet. This doesn't happen until late sept. to mid-oct. usually! Our squirrels are going crazy as well. I love fall...but what comes after that...oooh no!
