I've never used that one But I think it is the same as this one just prettier, This one I used in the swamps of SC. Worked great.

Hey Waterguy

Do you bring them with you when you come to visit and if so how do you get the butane here as they won't ship

and it's on the list of products not allowed in luggage on my airlines website

Do you know anyone who will ship - thanks and did you decide to visit soon or not (I lost track of that thread) - hope so and then will see you soon

Thanks for this thread...I didn't know these existed. I have to get one for camping!

At home, I use the Candle Version made by OFF! with great results. So if you can't get the butane to STJ, you could try those instead.

I called CostULess and they do not have butane. They have propane, but that's a different connector.

We use the "Off" version but it's not working here right now

I tried the link that Waterguy gave but the company won't ship the butane here as it's too expensive to ship

I ordered 10 of the raquets (I found them on-line) and they are being shipped for $8.50 each including Priority Mail shipping

- the island is sold out of them right now

I just bought a new type of bug spray - Repel Lemon Eucalyptus 6 hour repellent - no deet as I think I have developed an allergy to it

so I'll let you know how it goes. I have used it before but a long time ago and I think it was great but alittle oily but I'l try anything right now and it's on sale for 40% off at Big Planet

I will check the store on Monday (Paradise Lumber), I am pretty sure we have butane. I just need to look to make sure.

And we have about 75 mosquito zappers in stock too.

Well Pia there was no need to stand by the road waving bug zappers today because we sold a bunch anyway. Good idea! haha

However, we are out of stock of butane. Looks like you need a cartridge made for the Thermacell, which I ordered some . These will not arrive until 4-6 weeks.
