If you were to wear closed-toed Keens instead of tennis shoes, would you wear socks?

LOL Only if you're about 80. (Just kidding for all who wear socks.)
I love my Keen's, except that the rubber wears off on my big toes and makes them look icky. Thanks for the tip, FF.

Personally, no. But I try to NEVER wear socks if at all possible.

I had to chuckle at this because my brother (he's not 80

) wears socks with his Crocs while fishing. He has earned the nickname Socks-n-Crocs amongst the Lakeys!

LOL
I was just curious if that is something people "do" or if it is in the realm of wearing socks with Birkenstocks...
Sounds like it is

I had to laugh too when I read this post! The rule of thumb should be "when in doubt - DO NOT wear socks!"
I will have to check out this site, I have a pair of Keens and love them. AND I don't wear socks with them.

First of all Flip-flop...why did you have to post a link for a shoe site. SO walked in the room while I was looking at it and says, "You're buying MORE shoes????" Seriously though, thank for the link!
Secondly, I wear the little socks that come below my ankles with my Crocs because for some reason they make my feet stink if I don't. I only wear them around the house or neighborhood, and I don't care how I look when I have them on.
I can't see wearing my Keen's with socks though. It would defeat the purpose of having your foot feel free (which is why I love Keen's) yet still somewhat protected.

I got a pair for $70 there a couple of months ago, and I love them! My only problem is that I have the weirdest tan lines on my feet from wearing them outdoors all the time. My doctor laughed when he saw them during my last physical.
