We went up, up and up somemore until getting to Sol at the top of Skytop. The villa is amazing. Parking is not! Actually, there is room to park three cars, but turning around isn't fun. We began the tour as our jaws dropped!

Master Bedroom where Jason and I stayed

When you enter the house, you walk into the living room/kitchen of Sol. Their is a 1/2 bath, laundry room and office on this level. Upstairs are to king bedrooms with private baths and a sitting room with a tv. The rooms were perfectly decorated with great towels. The master has an outdoor shower that was great. As well as a claw foot bathtub. The A/C was freezing cold throughout the villa and the guest house.

The upstairs balcony was long with cushioned chairs and a perfect breeze!

Their is an actual yard out in front of the villa with comfy loungers and the grill is on this patio.

Down from this area was the swimming pool. Not huge, but plenty big enough to cool off in.

Down one short set of stairs was the hottub which got a ton of use with that great breeze!

Below that, was the guesthouse with two queen bedrooms each with private baths, another great balcony and a little kitchenette area.

The views were simply breathtaking.

Another promise

We settled in with drinks and a swim. Island Getaways had the fridge stocked with beer, soda, water, chips, fruit, cheese, crackers and it was done so pretty! We loved the villa and the welcome, but I do have to say that we asked the greeter for a couple of things, one being the directions for the safe and despite asking twice, we never received what we requested. I would use them again, but it wasn't the perfect service we'd received from other companies with much less expensive villas.

We loved the breeze and were thrilled that we didn't see a mosquito our entire stay. This was the evening my brother had chosen to propose so the guys got ready early and took off in their car to set the scene. Supposedly they were heading to Skinny Legs to get their drink on while we got ready. We hurried Lina along and finally we were on our way. We saw the guys on the side of the road at Maho with the hood up on their jeep. Car trouble, we have to stop and help them, ya know! My brother had a white blanket on the sand with champagne and flowers scattered with candles leading the way. We pushed Lina out of the car and with a tear in my eye at the perfectness of it all, hubby and dad got in and we drove away. We were headed back to Woody's where my brother had wanted to go to celebrate.

Soon they arrived at Woody's and the girls turned on "Going to the Chapel" as they entered.

Do you think she was excited?

Happy couple

We enjoyed burgers and drinks and relished being back on the island where we belong. And I had that darn pasta salad that tastes so much like the one at Soggy Dollar that I just love and can't replicate exactly!

Soon, we headed back to the villa and hit the sheets as we knew we'd want to be up early for the beach tomorrow!

Maho up next!

Great reports. Looked like soon-to-be SIL recovered nicely from her urchin stings. :D Was their picture on the Woody's website? Seems like I've seen that before. Sol Inclination looks very nice. Loved the rainbow shot. Thanks for sharing.

The scope was at the villa. Such an amazing view from the top of the island we hoped to use it and never got around to it!

Pjayer-yes, their pic was on Woody's website, so you've likely seen them before. It was a fun night!

Well now that you’ve done your Sol Inclination/trip report I just might have to do mine!

Was the telescope broken when you were there? It still worked, but the glass was broken…we made sure to mention it to Island Getaways so we wouldn’t get charged.
