Parking at JFK

I remember reading on this forum about a parking service off the JFK grounds that offers shuttle bus service into the airport. I believe that a reservation is needed.

Whoever posted I would appreciate any information you can provide since I would like to reserve for December. We don't usually fly out of JFK but couldn't beat the price on a non-stop flight. Thanks...

I used Avistar this past June and it was easy and fast. If you go to their website(avistarparking.com) you can make a reservation and there is a discount coupon for $17 pd instead of the $19.99 pd. I live in S.Jersey and also traveled to JFK for the great price on AA's direct flight ($359.00). Good Luck

We used this off site parking service in June
http://airportparking1.com/default.aspx
near JFK that was recommended by someone on the TTOL board who owns a villa and yacht in Virgin Gorda that was significantly cheaper than the others. I checked out the neighborhood where it was located, and I figure if it was good enough for him, then I’ll take a shot, but I took the company car just in case (!) They had a Jaguar and Volvo in the lot maybe 12-13 min from airport so I figure if someone wanted to break into the lot, they would take cars like those before my P.O.S. Chevy Impala. It worked out fine. They were about to expand operations by leasing more lot space at Belmont Racetrack.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I would also recommedn Avistar. We have used them for the past 3 years with no problem.

I think you probably mean Aqueduct :-)

He pointed to Belmont Park off the Cross Island, not Aquaduct Racetrack which is near the Van Wyck.
Easy to confuse the two as they are within about 4 miles of each other.

Wow that's weird! It's got to be a good 15 minute drive from Belmont down to JFK, seems a long way to go. For us Belmont is about halfway from home to JFK.

Thanks for the clarification.
