Hi Gene,
I used to live on St. Thomas, and since we have left I have been back once a year (the last 3 years) on both St. Thomas and St. John, for at least a couple of weeks. I have met many people over the years - from our forum and others, on St. Thomas and St. John. I couldn't tell you a number - but probably close to 100 at this point if I had to guess - maybe more.
To everyone else - we have finally settled in at our vacation spot, and due to my under and poor planning we are having quite a time getting on-line, and also figuring out how to get home from here. I am not in front of the computer often and have a lot of promises out to my girls, so please bear with me if I have not gotten back to you if you have emailed me or are having issues with the site at all.
All should be back to normal (meaning I will be working 24/7) in about another week to 10 days.
Thanks -

We are in a very small village in the middle of nowhere in the south of France near Spain. Since we have a lot of stuff we acquired this summer in the states, flying one of these small european airlines is very expensive. We could get a plane from Barcelona, a train from Narbonne, or drive nearly to Italy and train from there (or just switch cars and drive the whole way) but I just drove from Cambridge to here - about 1,500 kilometers I think. Just trying to find the least expensive route. To book a train though, I have to drive about 45 minutes! There is nothing in this town - and no public transportation at all (which was surprising!).
We are here

Staying in a house that belongs to friends of my in-laws. Just had a swim in the river - tomorrow morning is the market.
