A question likely to get me slapped

And I'll deserve it.

Is there any place on StJ to buy a Sunday NY Times?

(ducks)

I don't know...Sunday morning coffee just isn't the same unless my fingers are covered in black ink. It's likely to keep me entertained all week as I have morning coffee. Despite being an internet news person, I feel odd drinking morning coffee if I don't have a paper splayed out on the table next to me.

pip,

i've never purchased nyt in my 64+ yrs, butttt, my IE opens to nyt.com home page. most editorial views are way too liberal for me, but some great news stuff and i get to at least read some other propspectives that i never hear from local friends. i then go to wsj.com (annual fee) and sometimes wonder if i'm reading about same events. truth usually somewhere in the middle.

thus, if you can't find a paper on stj, try the web site, its free but you have to log in and can do that by auto return. some annoying popups, but hard ti complain when free. now just be sure your villa has web service.

I think Hubs picked on up somewhere is the Marketplace in 2007. If it wasn't the Times, it was another national paper.

We both like to zone out while having coffee and i remember being excited when he returned with one on our first day, which was a Sunday.

Your ticker is getting down there!

I've seen them at the gift shop at the Westin. I think that the Sunday NY Times was $10  during our visit in 2005. Newspaper or another Pina Colada...... :?

Hmmm...Westin. It's just about walking distance from the villa. I should make myself walk just to have to suffer a little bit for my silliness.

Thanks everyone!

Hey--don't worry about wanting a Sunday Times while on vacation---I thought that was one of the major pleasures of HAVING a vacation. As a St. Johnian, I look forward to affordable Sunday Times as a big bonus of stateside trips!

I save up the whole weeks worth of the VI Daily news and on Sunday pretend I have the Sunday paper.
