Our friend that travelled with us last year, the low maintenance guy and new girlfriend that has been there several times are joining us.

We are now looking for a 2 bedroom (ac in bedrooms) with privacy from each other. Cruz Bay side with a pool.

I was looking at Bluerock, but not sure of the exact location. Does anyone know where it is? I wonder if it is up by Sirenusa

I think I am starting to sound like the estate agent for Allesandra, but this might be a good fit. It has 3 bedrooms, but not a high pricetag, but more importantly, the 3rd bedroom is in it's own little bungalow under the garage, separate from the main house. The bungalow has its own fridge, ac, and a cooker. There is also a pool and hottub. It's located about 3/4ths of the way up rock ridge.

Do not know about Bluerock, but you might check out Caneel Trailside Cottage.

We looked at Caneel Trailside but I am a smoker and the owner said that his son is highly allergic to cigarette smoke and they prefer that no one even smoke outside.
I can understand so we took it off the list.

Allesandra is beautiful but a little out of our budget. We are trying to keep the villa price down since the airfare will be so high.

How about Star Villa? We were just there in June. The bedrooms have good a/c, there is a nice pool and the smokers were allowed to smoke outside and on the screened in porch. Its a great villa for the price.

Understand about the smoking. Looking at Bluerock and looking at the photos, it would appear to me to be somewhere in the vicinity of Caneel Trailside, but somewhat lower on the hill and maybe a little more east. I know that when we stayed at Caneel Trailside, we could not see Cruz Bay nor could we see St. Thomas. Looking at the photo of the pool, that hill in the distance appears to be the hill west of Pastory, but at a lower level than Caneel Trailside.

I know one thing, I really like the look of Bluerock and have already told pj that we need to put this one on our list. One thing I did notice, for whatever reason, they have not included a photo of the kitchen. Just a thought.
