Is it remotely possible to make the 7:45AM flight out of STT from St. John if you take a private water taxi and private taxi of STT??
Why is American Airlines making things to difficult???!!!

My sister had that early flight out last month and decided to spend the last night on STT. She enjoyed the hotel she stayed at. Best Western Emerald Beach I think it was.

What do you think, Pia? I think we'll take Dohm's ferry and Christopher's Taxi but how early would you say we need to be there at the airport for that 7:45AM flight??

Sorry it's taking me a while to respond as I'm back in Kansas City for a few weeks
For a 7:45am flight you will still need to be there by 6:15am 
Personally I would stay on STT at either the Crystal Palace, At Home In The Tropics or at the airport at the Best Western Emerald Beach the night before as Dohms has a minimum rate of $175.00 plus the cost of the private taxi, so it would probably work out cheaper (depending on how many rooms you need)
I agree, AA is making it really difficult

We have the same dilemma. I have already decided it would be best to stay on St. Thomas the night before. I have considered The Crystal Palace, but am also looking at Galleon House and Mafolie Hotel. Is anyone familiar with these places? Would it be difficult to get a taxi that early in the AM?

It is not difficult but you need to book in advance and they do charge $$$$$$ (I read approx $60 maybe)
