Trip Report STT-Day 2
I decided there were too many words and not enough substance in my first day's report so I will try to be succinct. . . I said try.
Woke up to the gorgeous view.

Wanted to hit Coki Beach to have my favorite drink - - Island Girl (rum, mangoes, strawberries, maybe a banana, and more rum. But first, needed to let my hubby take over the driving so out to practice. We went up to our property in St. Joseph & Rosendahl while I was repeating keep left, keep left and sometimes KEEP LEFT. I drove back. . . I probably didn't give him a fair shake, something about my inner control issues.
Off to Coki, it's still early, prime parking spot, Craig meets us and gets our chairs for us. ($5 each for the day). We are the second ones on the beach, that's nice. I go snorkeling and am slowly making my way around (I do dawdle when snorkeling) and all of a sudden I have all kinds of people surrounding me, hitting me with their flippers, talking and generally causing a commotion in the water and they are all kicking and using their arms like there's a shark or something. I guess the cruise ship people are here. . .Time to start drinking! Snorkeling was good at Coki, lots of nooks and crannies to look into and there were a lot of fish and some of the coral was in good shape but others were damaged. I did yell at someone to stop standing on what they thought was a rock. They ignored me. . .
Pretty much relaxed the remainder of the time there. In the water, lay on the chair, drink, in the water, repeat as necessary. Several buckets of beer and 2 Island Girls later (the 2nd Island Girl, he had asked me if I was driving and I said no. . . . that just means more rum), I decide that I needed a new purse. Now ladies, don't buy a knockoff purse on the beach after drinking heavily. Your powers of persuasion and your judgment is quite limited. I am now the proud owner of a very expensive Chanel knockoff. I rest my case.
We both need a nap and I have emptied my old purse (ziplock bag) of cash) so off back to the condo for a much needed nap. Went to Duffy's for a quick bite later on for dinner. Nothing spectacular and I completely forget that Duffy's only accepts cash, I leave my hubby at the table for collateral and I'm off to the cash machine once again.
