Sorry to have to ask the question again, I did try the Search option but it said that I Searched too many times and to try again later.
Anyhoo - what is the baby shampoo/water ratio again for defogging snorkel masks?
And, do you spray it on and then rinse it off in the ocean water? Can I do it ahead of time, like at the villa? If not, since you are at waters edge, what does one do with the bottle when done?
Thnx bunches!!!

Just a little shampoo (about as much as a quarter (25 cent piece) in a squirt bottle filled with water will do the trick. And you want to apply it to your mask just before snorkeling.

Hi Coden,
I use 50% water and 50% baby shampoo and spray inside and outside of the mask and rinse once in the ocean. I have mine in a spray bottle - one of the small ones you can buy in the supermarkets in the "travel size" section, and it will last your whole trip.

Hi Coden, here's something we learned AFTER our trip: if you have a brand new mask you should clean it with some toothpaste (just vigorously rub toothpaste around the inside and then rinse). This supposedly gets off a film that is residue from when the mask is manufactured. Hope your masks don't get foggy and have a great trip!

Thanks again everyone for you assistance. I think we are good to go now with commercial anti-fog spray and baby shampoo and spray bottle.
Have a great day!!!
