Here's a pic of a fish taken @ Maho Bay last year.He looked like a rock at first and never moved. The yellow eyes gave him away or I would have missed him!Parafins :D Image

Wow, it is a scorpionfish. Very cool. Would love to find one myself someday. Did you see it on the right side of the bay? Thank you, parafins!

Yes,I did spot him in the rocky area just about 40 ft. from shore and if you looked up the hill from there you can see Maho Camps!I love to snorkel this area day or night. What would happen if I would have stepped on him?At the time I took this pic. 2 teenage girls were chatting away STANDING on some of these rocks! It make sense to stay off the rocks in more ways than one!! :D Parafins.

It would ruin your vacation, to say the least (I've heard the words "severe pain"). Don't know what type of venom it's got. It may not be fatal, not sure, but you wouldn't want to find that out yourself, for sure.

Cool picture! These guys are so hard to spot. I have never seen one in BVI/STJ, but have seen a couple in Thailand.

The stripes on the tail can be one way to see them.
