Has anyone ever snorkeled Friis Bay?

Last time we were at Miss Lucy's, we asked the waitress if you could snorkel Friis Bay, and she told us that people do it all of the time.
She told us recently she watched someone snorkeling all around and when they came out of the water, she asked them what they were doing and they said they were following an octopus all around.
Has anyone ever snorkeled it, and if so, where did you snorkel it?
