1 night in high season on St. John

We usually stay 1 night in St.Thomas prior to our week in St. John but we have a early arrival(12:30pm) into STT. I was wondering if anyone knows a place for 1 night in St. John. I emailed the Inn at Tamarind court but you have to stay 3 nights during high season. Any other suggestions?

We did one night at the Inn at Tamarind Court this past January. Did you give them the specific night you're looking for? I think we may have lucked out with an opeining, but it is worth a try. It was not, however, the nicest of accomodations!

Tracy,
They said that they have a 3 night min.( like most places in high season) but we could be put on a hold list in case they had a opening for that night but we wouldn't know until closer to our trip. I have a group of three couples and would rather have something confirmed ahead of time. We will probably have to stay in St. Thomas but our flight arrives nice and early at 12:30pm so I thought I would try and see if there was any place on St. John.

Hey Traveler -- what are your dates in STJ? We will be there 2/7-17/09. From the looks of your ticker, you may be there the same time.

It could be quite difficult to get a single night during peak season. You could try St John Inn, though. Located right in Cruz Bay. I generally call rather than trusting emails when dealing with folks in the Caribbean.

Hey There,

We had the same problem last April finding a place without a three night minimum. The St John Inn had no problem with the one night thing and we were very happy with the place. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. We thought the location was pretty convenient as well.
Hope this helps. 8)

Thanks all,
We decide since our flight into STT is early, our villa is available the the day prior and that we would be spending around $200 per room at an hotel to just rent the villa another day @ $343.00. 8 nights on St.John, Woo Hoo 8) :D :D 8)
