I'd stay on White Bay. If I was there 3 nights or longer I'd get a rental car. The closest thing to a STJ villa experience is at White Bay Villas - very nice. The Perfect Pineaple is another good spot. The Sandcastle books up early, but you'll be hanging out there a good bit anyways.

If you want to go cheaper there is Ivan's. He also apparently now has two studios that are air conditioned.

Ivan has little villa's now
The bottom floor is a studio and the top can sleep 5.
What a view and you have your own kitchen.
if I do not stay at Ivans (which is rare) I would recommend Sand Castle which is Soggy dollar or White bay Villas
