I read rave reviews about Deli Grotto. I remember going in on our last trip, but don't remember anything about the food. What are your favorite sandwiches and what is their price range? Is there a menu posted anywhere?
Many thanks for the info!

John's favorite sandwich at Deli Grotto is the Pink Cadillac. It is turkey, cheese, guacamole, salsa, and I think cream cheese on pumpernickel bread. I don't have a favorite, really, but everything I have tried has been pretty good.
Their breakfast sandwiches are HUGE.
Remember that they are cash only.

I have a menu that I can dig out with prices on it. I will try and do that later today.

I am a big fan of their curried chicken salad sandwich. It could feed a small village. Also, love their sides - I remember the brocoli slaw being very good. Oh and their baked goods. YUM!

I scanned the menu into a jpg but when I load it to photobucket it is hard to read. If you want me to email you the jpg I will, just drop me an email or PM with your email address.

I'm a big fan of the curried chicken salad too. They also have great salads that you can get as sides for your dinner meal, if you're planning on doing any cooking in. Like FF said, the sandwiches are good size and hubby and I usually split one. I think the cost is like $6 bucks. My friend had the tuna and raved about that as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from that place. Yum. Ali~

Reading this reminded me about other places to eat for breakfast, etc. and I thought of the Simple Feast. Does anyone know if this place reopened? Or if another eatery opened in its place?

I recall sandwich prices in the "gourmet" range, like $9 and up. The had some lovely looking baked goods and prepared foods. I can't recommend that you avoid their very watery broccoli cheese soup (why I ever tried to get soup in the tropics is beyond me...).
Deli Grotto gets a lot of buzz, but I personally prefer Baked in the Sun, which is upstairs from Starfish Market. Great bagel sandwiches, and they have a turkey sandwich I cannot wait to have again.
Just another option to consider if you are over that way.

We LOVE Deli Grotto! My favorite grab on the go food by a mile! Their breakfasts are really good too!

Their sandwiches are around the $8 range but they are enough for 2 so I consider them a good deal.
I like the Trunk Bay chicken, the turkey artichoke, and the portabello mushroom.
We always share and have more than enough.

I second X's list. They are plenty big for two, and that makes them as economical as buying cold cuts. We made it our regular stop on the way to the nbeach. Leave room for desert!

I actually like the Pink Cadillac for breakfast! We make a point to get to Deli Grotto once a trip and we hit Baked in the Sun almost every day. They truly are my favorite for breakfast and their sandwiches are awesome too. When we are up there we see more locals than tourists come through!
