Purchasing custom koozies - recommendation and ideas?

I want to order some custom koozies for our 2008 group trip. Can anyone recommend a good company? I'm sure somebody here has done this before. Also, I'm looking for saying ideas to put on the koozie... I just started kicking ideas around and I'm not getting anywhere. We're a group of six, all adults, so the saying can be a tad bit off color.

Unfortunately, the Discount T-shirt Company seems to be defunct, seeing as their old web site address now takes you to a screen printing supply company. :(

What are some of the characteristics/dynamics of your group? Helping you find verbiage for the coozies could be fun!

Thanks Augie. I just found Kustom Koozies out of Raleigh, NC. They seem to get good reviews and will let you order as few as 12. Even though it's kind of spendy, I think this is going to be $65 well spent.

Our group are all between the ages of 31 and 34. None of us have kids, and we're all professionals with jobs that require waaay to much of our time. Not really parrotheads, so I don't want to use Buffett sayings. Now Bob Marley... that could work.

I plan to put some sort of beach art in the middle.

Some ideas:
Bitchin' Beach Bash
St. John 2008

I could always steal the forum's famous "Six on the Beach" slogan since we're a party of six...

These are our favorite bottle / can chillers, called "The Fridge":

They are a bit bulky but very lightweight. I'm hoping to find some kind of an imprintable over-sleeve for our all-girl trip next April. Maybe a large coozie would do it but I hate to give these up, they really last a long time. We tried cutting techni ice and banding it around the cans (we do this with wine in a cooler and it's great) but the techni ice was drippy.

Good luck - appreciate your posting your final source.

Satisfy My Soul - 3 Little Birds (and 3 Buff Soldiers)
St. John USVI, August(?) 2008

Might get kind of crowded - maybe just "Satisfy My Soul"

Whatever you eventually decide on - have fun!

Virgin Islanders have a unique way of pluralizing things by tacking the word "dem" on the end. For a group of people, many will say "de people dem" (dem was probably supposed to be the word them at some point. So, how about a group pic with the words "De People Dem 2008?"

Thanks ms411. I was looking for some unique Carib terms. I could also say "Da*m People Dem" since that is what our villa neighbors might be calling us after a few nights (KIDDING!).

LOL! I like your version!

Can you send me a link to the coozie you're considering? I want to see if it's something you can have done here.

Just wanted to chime in that we ordered koozies from kustom koozie for our May trip. My brother got engaged so they were a surprise for him and his fiance. They turned out perfect!

This is what I was thinking of when you said you wanted personalized:

Which is why I suggested group photo. The other source mentioned does screenprinting, which is more expensive for small lots. Any of the t-shirt guys can do these here if you bring blanks.

What I don't like about these, though, is they don't have a bottom! I saw another style with bottom on another site, but it looks more difficult to transfer.
