Going back to the STT for 10 days... Can't wait!
Been 4 years since I have been back for a quick stop, and 8 years since a long vacation on 'the rock'.

Moved to STT when I was 5, left for the states when I got married in 83'. Parents were there till 93'... older brother still in STX.

Staying at a friends condo at Cowpet, and trying to catch up with friends that I haven't seen in a long time.

We just celebrated our 25 anniversary (were married in Fairchilds Park) and plan to island hop, teach my kids how to sail a sunfish and show them my old house on Skyline Drive and in Wintberg... etc.

Does anybody know if Mampoo Kitchen is still in lower Wintberg, on the way to Megans? Their stewed guava berry was the best. Granny (sure she's gone now) made the best sugar candy, and sugared tamrind on a stick... just want to share some of these things with my girls that you would not find on the regular beaten path.

Paula,
Yes it is... And you were there! I have the pictures to prove it. I haven't heard from 'Stitch in years! I do hear from Steve via e-mail all the time, how are you?

Carrie-Ann. Mampoo Kitchen is gone. Closest thing is Lucia Henley over in Nadir.
I was in Bruce's class at All Saints. Two classes having reunions this 4th of July. Class of '70 and '77. Both off years I know, but, what the heck!

Ronnie,

How are you?

I guess that the days of playing vollyball at the ring in Wintberg is over too!

Remember drinking way too many Mt. Gay Bombers in Frenchtown at Barbary Coast... please don't tell me that gone too?

I thought that I was going to cry when I heard that the Crazy Cow was gone.

Is it true that you are running a Bed and Breakfast?

All true. Some of the people still around but no places. Just subjects of conversation!
