I find it amazing that we can't check a bag/box of food for free, but alcohol is okay! So, you can't check things that are necessary (clothes, food, etc), but booze is just fine. I realize it's all about the money that stores might loose, but the idea of this is flawed. I don't mean to offend alcoholics. I just wish we could check one bag for free coming back home that has useful things such as gifts, clothing and other things we purchase in the VI.

Well, you can always use souvenir clothing to insulate the bottles. I am so glad to see this happen - the VI economy is taking enough hits with the schedule cancellations. Even our friends who are not alcoholics enjoy the gift of a great high-end cognac or rare bottle of this or that.
