Hello again everyone!
I'm pretty sure I left my feet, fins, and four wheel drive book on the plane on the flight over here...I had already highlighted all the places I wanted to go to and all the things I wanted to see...I can't stop kicking myself over it!
So, please suggest some beaches to us. We are looking for a beach that's easily accessible from the road (I'm really not much of a hiker) and that has good snorkeling. We've been to Trunk and Francis so far and have loved them both. Where should we go next?

Thanks for all the advice these past few days!

Maho. Easy access from the road and gorgeous. My husband found a couple of turtles right away straight out the middle. Great pelican watching too. Probably my favorite beach on STJ. Have fun!!!!

ughhh I just realized I havent ordered my copy yet. This is our 4th time to STJ so I am looking to hit some of the more obscure places (like those liamsaunt describes so well). STJ Ruth - do you have any copies in the store? I guess I have time to order before we leave on July 4th but I guess it would be better to buy the island book on the island :)

I have three suggestions for you:

Hawksnest, Hawksnest, Hawksnest

It has a good size parking lot, short walk to the the sand, shade trees, picknic tables, restrooms and a diverse snorkeling experience. We have never been disappointed when we went there.

PM me if you would like more info.

All great suggestions above and I'd add Gibney. There is limited parking which means limited people on the beach. It's one of my favorites.

I'm jealous you are there! Have an amazing time :)

Jumbie or Salt Pond. Just swing by one of the shops in Cruz bay and Coral Bay and grab another copy!! Ruth don't you carry this book? If not, SOMEONE does!

Maho for easiest access and nice snorkeling. Love Jumbie, but there are a few steps. Certainly not a hike, especially if someone else is carrying the cooler and chairs. :D
