Ok where were we. Sorry about the delay it may take all summer for this report, life happens. Andy wakes up lookin way better than the night before and he decides he will give breakfast a try as I burnt the bacon the previos day woo hoo I'll have to screw up more often. The girls get up about a half hour later. We Talk about the first unnamed hurricane that rolled threw last night (not kiddin it was coming down sideways and the windows were whistling it was blowing so hard)
Coffee lookin the other way towards Maho

Well we decide to do the Ramshead trail since it's nice and windy figure it will keep us cooler. The girls stay behind and we tell them we will be back by twelve. As we drive to our destination we notice a lot of gravel and debris has washed into the road we arrive at Saltpond at eight and are the first ones there. I tell Andy wait till we get back there will be a bunch of cars on our return. Oh I wish the trip back was as easy as the trip down nice and shady and downhill. We decide to go to Drunk bay and see what kind of new art has been made.
The hike to Drunk

We arrive and first thing to the left on a rock is this little guy we named him Tripod

Someone took all day on this little shelter I thought there might be a bum in it when we checked it out
Image
Looked around and checked all the art out and admired the view and were off to Ramshead
Image
Were headin up the trail and Boats call telling us her and Bobby are a go for the boat trip. She was impressed we were up so early doing a hike. Hey ya gotta sweat that alcohol out good for your liver ya know.
Views on the way

We decide to do the Blue Cobblestone snorkel before we head on and it did not disappoint lots of fish and a cool pinnacle that comes up out of probably 30 or 40 feet of water with nice coral and fish. These pics don't do it justice

We were out there a long time and I started to feel seasick as the swells were getting bigger out there so I lookup and Andy is having a full blown PANIC ATTACK. Lucky he had a belt on . I get him calmed down and swim him in and my seasickness subsides after I have my head up for awhile helping Andy in. We get back and there's a couple that had waited for us to return as we had been out for so long . Nice couple talked for a few and they were off. We decide it had to be pretty late and we better get back to the villa. Oh well that gives us an excuse to go back and do the rest of the hike.

At full zoom pretty amazing

On the walk back we pass quite a few people and arrive to a full parking lot at Saltpond after the walk up from the Sahara desert trail, man it was hot. Get back to the villa about twelve and arrive to our beautiful wives sunning themselves by the pool. Eat some grub and decide to try Cinnamon. We arrive to a full parking lot and head out to the left side of the beach hoping to find a nice spot. We make a turn toward the beach and low and behold the perfect spot waiting for us. It was too good to be true this late in the day the beach gods were looking over us. We set up shop and chilled for the rest of the afternoon and took it light on the booze after yesterday's party at Salomon. This was the calmest I've ever seen Cinnamon it was awesome. Did a little snorkeling to the left heading towards Little Cinnamon, it was ok lots of sea fans

We take off from the beach about five and head home with a pit stop at the smoothie stand. I have a Mango smoothie can't remember what my honey got but I had a taste and it was delicious.
Dawny at the stand

We arrive at the villa starving so Teresa whips up some Tatertot casserole. This is my fave meal of the vacation don't laugh this crap is really tasty comfort food I tell ya! With full bellies we watch a movie; Old School I think was the name of it, hilarious. Hit the sack early again ready for our first boat trip ever early the next morning.

Thanks for the update, Speedy! Are we only at Day 3? Just razzin ya Kirk! I kind of wish we would have done the Ramshead trail. Or at least ventured over to Drunk Bay. Oh well, I guess we have something to do next trip.

Looking forward to Day 4 sometime in July... :)

Ah, jeeze, Cap'n! Tater tot casserole is only something that Ohioans eat, and in secret. It's not the kind of dish that can be photographed! It's certainly not of the same caliber as the dishes these East Coast folks create. I've been pretending all along to know what the heck the spices are that Liamsaunt uses in her dishes and now you've gone and exposed the "gourmet" dishes of Ohio! I'm going to have to go make a brocolli and cheese cassrole with Ritz crackers and Velveeta!

HE HE HE   I bet theres other Hicks out there eating Tater Tot casserole other than just Ohioians. Maybe I should start a Food Porn For Hicks Thread in the OT forum. By the way its browned hamburger, onions, cream of mushroom soup mixed together smothered with motzzerella and topped with tatertots YUMMY :D

I've got a Twinkie's "cookbook" (I use the term loosely) that has a Twinkie "sushi" (again the term is used loosely) recipe.

Essentially twinkies wrapped in fruit roll-ups then sliced crosswise. Here's the link on the Hostess web site:
http://www.hostesscakes.com/recipe_view12.htm

-- kinda cute and would be fun for the kids--

Flip Flop I think we should do this for the mini flip flops next year!!

I don't know about on STJ, but it does sound like a good winter dish  . Does the cheese go on top of the tots or under? Mix the soup with anything or "straight up"? I'll have to give that one a try  .
