Jost Die Hard

I went to Foxies, and The Soggy Dollar Bar, on Jost last weekend with a group from work. After Jost we went to the Willie T. Well we had a very large time. I was feeling no pain and lost count of the Painkillers. Monday? Well Monday was not a good workday last week, but I did it anyway. A few that went to Jost called in sick. A little 'under' the weather.
For those of you who have been to White Bay, you know it is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. I really do believe it, so much so I am going back Memorial Day.

Foxies boat dock.

Not very crowded on Sunday AM when we arrived. We had the whole place to ourselves.

We left Foxies after a couple of pain relievers and headed for Soper's Hole to pick up part of our group. Then went straight back to Jost for White Bay. This was our mode of transportation.

Not a bad beach. The Soggy Dollar Bar is right on this beach to the right in this pic. There are chairs and hammocks provided.

Sampled the Chicken Roti. I highly recommend it if you haven't had it. Very good eats.

The view from The Soggy Dollar.

NO pain.

We had to knock off the PK's, so we switched to this.

We left Jost about 4:30 and headed for the Willie T. An interesting place. I like the idea of a floating restaurant bar. Hmmm.

As the sun started to set on the Willie T and Norman Island, we made way to Cruz Bay.

That was my day as tourist. Monday I return hoping to be a regular.
Some have asked what is so special about Jost Van Dyke. I can't explain it. It is just different. Different in a good way. The USVI still has the most numerous beaches, a great National Park, and loads of things to see and do. Just try Jost if you haven't, you will not be disappointed.
