haha...I'm so anxious about our first time trip to STJ that i've started going back and reading things that were posted b4 I joined! I cannot wait to get my feet in the sand and a beer in my hand!

I have exactly one month from today. I can't wait. I just hope everyone on the trip has fun. I ordered a new dry snorkel last night.

I like looking at everyones pics and I'm always searching for forum for some new info.

3 months to go for me!!!

We are leaving for St. John in 2 days . Funny thing is that I was more excited about it a couple of weeks ago than I am now. I think I just can't believe it's getting oh so close after waiting nearly a year for this. My brain doesn't seem to have caught up with the reality yet.

I have to wait a extra two weeks,

5 days and counting!....I would have never been so calm about a trip had it not been for all the great info and advice from everyone on the forum. I think I'm ready for the trip, now we just have to get through that pesky wedding stuff....lol. It will be a relief to finally be relaxing on the beach! Be on the lookout for a TR when I get back.....

I hear ya fruitcake! We are 11 days out. Almost single digits! My head has already left the building. Only my body remains. It is the killer!!!

pickle....i was the same way! the last couple of days before we left, i was convinced that it really was never gonna come. it wasn't until i saw the welcome to st john sign from the ferry that i really knew that it really was happening! enjoy your trip. i've got 2 years until i can go back trying to save up for a big sailing trip around the bvi's! oh god!!!!

To try to make the time pass more quickly I sneak peeks of others' pix on the forum...when I should be working. ha I am so emotional about this trip that I immdiately tear up when I start looking at the pix. My husband is a newbie to St. J. It will be so much fun showing the island to him.

We are 27 days out and while I am so excited, a sense of impending doom is also beginning to set in...

I do this every year. We only go to STJ once a year, so when a trip starts to get really close, I get anxious for the upcoming trip but also upset knowing that it won't be too long until I'll be the furthest point from our next trip.

Our walk of woe (or drive of woe for us since we take the car ferry) means not only that I'm leaving but it's going to be an entire year before we're back!

The cure for this silliness would be to go more than once a year, but my husband is not up for that...he'd rather we go somewhere else and just do STJ once a year, even though he loves it too.

4 Days and a wakeup and we will be there for 12 glorious days. Then I hope time stands still with my feet in the water.

27 more days for us! The kids are really getting excited, too. I just love the anticipation. If my husband ever surprised me with a spur-of-the-moment trip, I would probably be mad at him because I really do love the planning and research.

It's really bad when I completely rearranged my desk at work so that my computer screen can't be seen by people walking past my office. They think I am in here working...being such a good empployee...little do they know I am pouring over all the messages boards, reading trips and getting all kinds of new ideas!!
