Can someone tell me how to delete a post? I know how to edit, but I don't see a delete function. Thanks.

All you can do is delete the content and put a sorry in it or something else the post will stay

Thanks, Anthony. I'll keep that in mind for future posts. I wanted to delete my original post under the pet thread, but it's no biggy.

Were you in Louisville for the same reason I was in Louisville?

Had to have been the NRA--that's all that was going on in Louisville last week.

Yes it was the NRA my son and I had to work the team USA booth. We did make it to Jim Beam and Makers Mark
Makers Mark had the Hillary rally on Sat. but we did the tour and got out of there before she showed up.

Well we would have stopped by to say hello if I had known!

I pretty much go to the NRA convention every year…being there for the annual meeting of the members is the most important part for me. My dad usually goes but this year he was too busy shooting to go to the convention.

So now my husband is a member too…and he’d never touched a gun before he met me!

Did you get to sample the bourbon on either tour? If so, what did you think? We like Maker's Mark the best. Bayer has a big collection of their commemorative bottles. I sampled their Mint Julep (several times) on Derby Day. It was strong, but tasty.

(And I was pretty sure you weren't there to see Hillary. )

Lets put it this way I told my son as we are manning the booth all I had to to eat today was bourbon and chocolate made with bourbon. I like makers mark and bookers. There were a few bottles in my luggage went carry on on the way down but had to check on the way back because of the bourbon.

I did see that picture and added at the bottom of my pet post that he looked much happier in the second shot.

A few bourbon balls washed down with a tall glass of bourbon? You'd fit right in here! It's kind of like a food group in Kentucky.

On your next visit, don't forget the Derby Pie made with bourbon. You can start with that and sip your way to the candy.
