Trip Report Virgin Gorda 27Apr - 11May

Went to VG only this year for 2 weeks, but next time we visit we will split again between VG and STJ. Love both islands.
Stayed as usual at Guavaberry and it was wonderful of course. Enjoyed Spring Bay and all other lovely beaches and also took a daytrip to Anegada. The swells were up the first week, which made the water not really good for snorkeling, but the week after was better.
Met a lot of friends, who usually comes the same time every year. This was our fourth time, so we are starting to have a little "gang" that hangs out on the beach and sometimes get together at Mad Dogs for a famous Pina Colada or Painkiller.
VG has a lot of restaurants, for being such a small island. Our favorite is Rock Cafe and the Mineshaft. One day, we went to Saba Rock for lunch, which also was very good. You just call ahead, and they come and pick you up by boat.
I also upgraded my Scuba certification to Advanced level and did dive at several sites including the Rhone, which was fantastic. I also learned how to take underwater pictures with my new camera. It was so much fun, but also very difficult to be still in the water.
Here are a few photos. More here: http://kc.ytterberg.eu/
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
