" I am going to leave early. My project wrapped up and I don't get all the directives for the blah blah blah until Monday, plus the board is a little slow today, so I am really bored."

No, I don't have time for a special project. I'm too busy typing up my trip report!

I usually work from a home office, so I do alot of conference calls on my speaker phone. I learned the hard way the perils of surfing villa sites while on a call, because one of them had loud music that played every time I hit the link for holiday prices.
"Christmas in the Caribbean..."
#@$%!! mute key!! mute key!!
"Uh... Kate? We're talking about the marketing plan...What's that in the background?"

I'm not allowed to use the "v" word in front of my boss.
X - since the blah, blah isn't due until Monday, does that mean you're free for dinner tomorrow?

I wish! The project that requires me on Saturday is an off shoot of my regular job. We are building a new building and the phone and network splice is tomorrow. I need to be on sight to monitor sytem errors.
