Day Two - Instant Villa Gravity
Well, with views like this

And a pool like this

It didn't surprise me that Villa Gravity struck on day one. Pam and Mike (hereafter known as Vasco de Gama and Dora the Explorer) head out with map in hand to go exploring. We wave goodbye from our pool rafts with the sound of the blender whirring in the background.
Cousin Laurie had brought an Ipod with 568 songs on a St. John playlist. We played them alphabetically by artist, so a lot of our time was spent asking "who is this¨ so we would know what letter we were on. Laurie is a goddess of playlists and that Ipod drew us back to the villa again and again
My brother calls and he and his girlfriend offer to bring over a pot of spaghetti sauce for dinner. How wonderful are they!!! We don't have to get out of the pool (except to jump in the hot tub). Vasco and Dora return, our wonderful dinner arrives and we have a fantastic dinner on the deck. The drinks are flowing, the food is delicious and the Ipod is cranking. All of sudden, "The Love I Lost" starts playing - you know the one, "The love I lost, was a sweet love." Well, a few people start swaying in their chairs and singing. The next thing you know, all 10 of us are chair dancing and singing at the top of our lungs for the entire song with giant smiles on our faces. It was one of those magical moments when you are with people you love, everyone's problems disappear and you are truly, truly, happy.
Now Tom, Lauren, Laurie, Kate, Lisa and I head down the hill to show the newbies the night life in St. John. Something magical happened, we fell in love that night - with Woody's! My cousin Kate led the charge that shots were needed. The girls sampled a few, and we decided the Blonde Sluts were our favorites and that became our nickname for the week. We just had a blast.

Tomorrow - our Boat Day on Born to Rhumb!
