I know this has probably come up before, but any opinions of Viva for rentals? My experience is limited to Caribbean Villas and Destination St. John and just wondered if anyone has positive or negative feedback on this agency.

Feel free to pm me if you would prefer to share your opinion privately!

Thanks

I rented Reef Madness in June through Viva. They have been very nice and accommodating so far.

I've called and asked a few questions about beach chairs and coolers and they were very nice. I also have moved the dates around and ended up adding a person. So I've called them about 4 times with questions or changes and so far they have been nice and polite with no problems each time.

We've rented "Sea Stone" from VIVA for our upcoming trip in May/June and, so far, we are very happy with them. Since no guests will be staying at the villa the night before we arrive, they are letting us do an early check-in (as long as there is no problem with the cleaning crew), and we really appreciate that.

One of my two favorites, so far. I've rented from them three times - Caribe Villa, Callaloo and Eaglesnest. Good service. They give a 10% discount to repeat renters (check payment required to receive discount) on the villas they manage. No hidden fees.

Cheers, RickG

I've used them a few times. Only positive things to say.

I agree with all of the posts. We used them in February and had some problems with the villa, and their response time was amazing.

We used them last year to rent Andante. No problems at all. We are also renting from them this year for Sapphire Breeze. I would recommend them. Rick, they did not give us the 10% because they said it had to be the same villa. We always pay by check.

Flipper, The first time we were going down there I called VIVA. Even then I knew I wanted to stay on the Coral Bay side of the island. I was going on pretty short notice and VIVA didn't have anything for the time we needed, but the young lady working there said she'd call me back. She found 2 villas available for the times we needed, but through another agency! They made a fan for life. I always hear nothing but the best about them.

I am digging casa luna. Seems like a TON of bang for the buck. We'll see. There are still a couple of other contenders. Villa Rendezvous through them as well looks good.

Decisions, decisions...

We have used Viva 3 times, great to work with! Excellent customer service! I did check on that 10% discount that RickG had mentioned a while back and they told me only if you rent the same villa!!
