Ordered our waterproof camera case!!

Yippee!! I just now ordered a Canon waterproof case for our sons Canon camera. We'll use his for underwater pictures and ours for all other pictures.

Plus I ordered strap covers for our mask straps so my hair doesn't get pulled. Ouch!!

I think the above two purchases are our last two important and must haves. And it feels good to get it out of the way!!

Today I packed all 4 sets of snorkeling gear into a carry-on. And even had enough room to slide flat things, like drink huggies, in-between fins, etc. So I can say that I have started packing. And that's a good thing!!

Sea ya!!! :D

Hi,

Yup - I'm back so you must be getting closer :(

You'll love the underwater casing. I have one for my Pentax and got some pretty good underwater shots.

The snorkel mask straps work great; they don't snag and snarl your hair.

They can be purchased on island at Low Key Watersports and the snorkel place in the Lumber yard (I think it's Cruz Bay sports).

time flies - you'll be back before you know it.

enjoy!

Hey there jayseadee - How was your trip? I've been off the boards a bit of late due to traveling for work so I've missed the boards here a bit. How was your trip to paradise??? :D

Can't wait to see your pics. and I am excited about the waterproof case, it also is coming with a lot of extra's, filters and things like that. I hope my son lets me use it in March when I go on my 10 day cruise. :)

When I get back I'll need to open an account with one of the picture download sites so I can download my pics, so I can share. How exciting that our time is almost here, and I know, I know, it will come and go quickly. But we'll try to make the most of our 10 days that we can. Yippee!! STJ here we come!!!

Hey Coden - I just opened an account with pbase after seeing so many good pictures from this forum posted on that site. Out of all the different websites I've checked, pbase has the best format in my opinion... and you can personalize it. And it's only $23 a year. I also have an account with Kodak Gallery, that I've had for a number of years, but I don't like its display format as well as pbase's. I have about 1/2 of my pictures from our trip to STT last year uploaded to pbase now. I'll send you the link when I'm done if you like and you can check it out. :)

Congratulation on getting the underwater case, you won’t regret it.

Anita used the hair strap last year and it really helped.

Have a great trip.

CaGirl - I'll check pbase out when I get back. I think I have them on my computer anyway, free trial or something, I dunno. I'll check!! :)

Bob - thnx for the endorsement on the hair strap. Man, does it ever hurt when your hair gets pulled with that rubber strap. Ouch!

We are pumped over getting the underwater case too. We can't wait to snorkel now!!! Woo-hoo!!! :D
