We woke to our first morning on STJ with a cup of coffee and the birds singing. Glorious.

Our plan was to pack up and head to Maho. We made a stop at Deli Grotto for some lunch sandwiches and arrived within a few minutes. We spent our day relaxing and laughing.

Around 2pm we headed back to the villa. I took a dip with Wade and Terry to keep them busy.

They were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Wade's cousin Sammy. Sammy was swimming in and meeting up with Jeff for directions to the villa.

A little while later there was a knock on the door and I was so surprised and delighted to see Jeff. We chatted for a big (although I think I might have been a little bit star-struck meeting him) and he left us to relax a bit more.

We cleaned ourselves up and left Wade, Terry, and Sammy to enjoy the full moon on their own. We were off to the BB for the gathering and then to Miss Lucy's for the Full Moon Pig Roast.

The BB was great. We saw Ruth, Ron, Jeff, Kirk and his lovely lady friend, Crash, and Bev. It was a blast.

We had to cut the visit short and get over to Miss Lucy's. Dinner was great. We had our choice of Pig, Cow, Fish, or Chicken and the sides were rice with black-eyed peas, plantations, mashed sweet taters, and some kind of fungus. Sorry, I am not a big food person so this report will not be full of yummy food reports or food porn

Anyway, the food was great and the music was awesome. The moon was huge and a great time was had by all. We arrived back at the villa and fell fast asleep in our cozy Bongo beds.

More to come.....

XOXO

Bug, thanks for the live trip reports! Bongo is an amazing villa! Jeff and Russ did such a wonderful job - I love the open air feel of it and I could sit and stare at that view for hours. Have a fabulous week (I know you will)

bug:

Was that Sunday that you were at Maho?

We were there too. Never seen it so crowded. I'm guessing that was your crowd closer to the east end making all the ruckus! Hope your week goes well.

Bug, (is it ok to call you that? you can call me Bud!)

I really like the live reports. We are thinking about using Dohm's this year for the first time. I'm about ready to call them, but I would like to know if they can take 12 people? Would you or anyone else know?

Keep writing!!
