I'm trying to rent a Vitara 2 door/4 passenger car for 2/9/-2/17.
I called 3 places and I was surprised that they didn't have any left
for those dates. I guess it's not too early to reserve. I've booked in
the past from St John Car Rental and Penns. Penns didn't answer and
St. John was out of them. I did get a reservation from Denzil Clyne and
was wondering if anyone has done business with them. I remember
seeing their name but don't know anything about them. I was surprised
that they wanted me to send a check to hold the reservation rather than
a credit card. I know I sound like a skepical New Yorker but I am
a skeptical New Yorker. Someone tell me I don't have to be. Thanks.

Penns keeps 9-5 office hours and are closed on weekends. Try them again tomorrow. I have not rented from Denzil Clyne, but after reading others reports, and thinking of my satisfying rentals from Penns, I would keep trying Penns before booking with Clyne.

I have also rented from L+L with a good outcome. Good luck!
