No review.........yet. But we will be at Cloud 9 in 26 days! YES!!!

But, I do have some pm's from some who stayed there recently and he answered a lot of the questions I had about the villa. I will be glad to forward them to you if you'd like me to.

md,

c9's bride's and my fav, stayed there 4 times, last was about month ago.

negatives 1st: she's not luxury, kitchen stuff a little on basic side and 2 masters are side by side and thus not as much privacy as some villas.

positives: some of best views on island IF you like sunsets, lighting of stt and watching cruise ships leave stt; she's well equipped with everything we have needed for our stays and beach trips; she's comfortable and all on one level (there's a loft only used when young granddaughters went along); she has a wonderful gazebo next to gt room and kitchen for escape from sun and occassional showers; grounds are lovely and villa is quite private though you have neighbors on both sides; nothing to obscure views to west as nearest villa you'll see is several hundred feet below and a good distance away; owners and manager (marcy) are very responsive if you have a problem; imho she offers good value, comfort and that true island feel when you open all her doors in the evening to take in the views and breezes.

ps while we have had little need during our trips, oct, dec, jan and feb, in may you will probably welcome her quite remote controlled split ac systems. on second thought we did use some in feb in bedrooms so we could close up and keep out the noises of the local roosters!

Roosters are common all over the island, you may find them no matter where you stay.

We stayed at Seawatch last summer (the next driveway after Cloud 0 and Palm's driveway) and saw roosters and chickens, but I never heard them in the mornings.

The views are fantastic from up there! You will love it.

Some friends of ours rented Cloud 9 while others rented Palm Villa not realizing they would be right next to each other. I got to see both of them and they are both nice and very similar to Seawatch.

I think you will be very happy with that location and the villa.

p.s. my only problem with that area is that we took Centerline more than the North Shore Road so we missed those beautiful views when driving  Make sure to try to take the North Shore Road when you can.
