I was looking at a Wallaroo hats catalog yesterday & on a full page pic of one of the models she was wearing a Hook bracelet. Thought that was so cool. Can't wait to get mine in May....was gonna order it ahead of time but wanted to get it 'on island'. Thanks for all the info from y'all about your hook bracelets in the past.

I was training a dog yesterday and my client noticed my hook bracelet and said something about St. Croix (still don't know what she said).

Turns out she lived down there on a sailboat for a year and worked there as well. I am not sure which island she lived off of though because we talked about all of them.

I have run into two other people wearing them in town (one was another client) and the other was someone that worked at the restaurant where I took my cooking classes.

It's like an instant connection!

I'm beginning to think I'm the only person who doesn't have a hook bracelet. I have a Caribbean knot instead.

Just got out of a meeting with HR Healthy Lifestyles and Employee Resource Group. I've known the HR person for some time, but just noticed her gold hook bracelet. "Sonya, St Croix" she said. "Sonya, of course, St John" I said. We hijacked the meeting for a few minutes.

I have three hook bracelets that I have purchased over the years from St. John & St. Thomas. Two are sterling and one is gold. I wear one, two, or all three of them everyday! If you look at any of Kenny Chesney's CDs up close, he is wearing one in almost every picture.

Patrick Swayze had one on when he was on the front of one of the magazines in the grocery last week.
