Why does my ticker show as a link instead of an image?

The hints on bbcode are at http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/f ... ode=bbcode

You need to enclose the image in img tags:
- open img tag is a "[" with "img" followed by "]"
- close img tag is "[" followed by "/img" then "]"

Voila:
